^{Founded in 2009, RYSBL is a summer pick up league at an affordable cost.  This is an organized league with officials refereeing the games, but the teams are managed by the players.  There is no coaching allowed and there are no practices.}

^{The intent of this league is for kids to have "fun" playing basketball without adult instruction or critique!   It is the "fun" part that is often lost in the world of youth sports today!}

^{Playing basketball during the summer is not only good exercise, but keeping a basketball in your hands will improve you as a player.  Kids will also discover new leadership skills and learn how to work as a team.   Developing these skills, along with attending basketball camps, playing on travel or house teams, and practicing on your own, will help make you a well rounded basketball player.   And like most sports, basketball will teach you many life lessons along the way!}
